What you’re about to read is some Dan Brown and Assassin’s Creed-type ish right here, except this actually happened.
Three people, including an aide to California state attorney general Kamala D. Harris were arrested in Los Angeles for impersonating police officers and are being accused of “operating a rogue police force that claimed to exist for more than 3,000 years and have jurisdiction in 33 states and Mexico.”
According to The LA Times, Brandon Kiel, David Henry and Tonette Hayes claim to be part of the Masonic Fraternal Police Department, or M.F.P.D. because you know, it’s a real police department.
Suspicions about the Masonic Fraternal Police Department – whose members trace their origins to the Knights Templar – were aroused when various police chiefs in Southern California received a letter in late January that announced new leadership for the group, sheriff’s officials said.
If you thought sending change of leadership notices to the police chiefs was a ballsy move, just wait. After the letters were sent out, a man calling himself Keiv and claiming to be M.F.P.D.’s “chief deputy director” made calls to various law enforcement agencies to schedule in-person meetings.
Sheriff’s Capt. Roosevelt Johnson met with the group and “became wary after they could not provide rudimentary information about the group’s aims.” Really Roosevelt, that’s when you became wary?
Following an investigation, officials said, sheriff’s investigators searched two sites in Santa Clarita and found badges, weapons, uniforms and law enforcement paraphernalia.
The three were arrested Thursday and released later that day, according to jail records.
But the weirdest part of this entire story is the fact that they had their own website. The Knights Templar are supposed to be a secret order. They’re not supposed to have websites, guys.
Here’s what its “About” section looks like:
The Masonic Fraternal Organization is the oldest and most respected organization in the “World.” Grand Masters around the various states are facing serious safety concerns for their Jurisdictions and their family members. The first Police Department was created by the “Knights Templar’s” back in 1100 B.C.
The Masonic Fraternal Police Department, (M.F.P.D.) is the Knights Templar’s!
When asked what is the difference between The Masonic Fraternal Police Department and other Police Departments the answer is simple for us. We were here first!
Wait a minute, 3 people were arrested, there’s 1 suspicious sheriff, making it 4, so if you take the original 3 and times that by 2, you get 6. 6 and 4 makes 10. Illuminati is 10 letters long. ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED!
