Perhaps what decadent dreams are made of, champagne is now available via vending machine from French purveyor Moet & Chandon.
For a brand that touts glamour, we can’t think of anything more glam than putting a spin on a vending machine, providing miniature bottles of champagne at the press of a button. The machine has been spotted at various high-profile events. And now, it is front and center in the US. For those celebrating a night on the town, fabulous Las Vegas offers the only two machines in America.
The first machine was unveiled, and made a huge splash upon arrival at the Mandarin Bar of the The Mandarin Oriental. This machine can be found in the hotel’s 23rd floor “Sky Bar,” where it distributes Imperial Brut and Rose. A few tips on picking the perfect champagne may be found here.
Quick to get in on the action, neighboring Caesars Palace has just added a machine at their FIZZ Lounge, making it the second machine accessible to the public.
A Moet Mini Vending Machine was auctioned off at a charity benefit for AMFAR last week in New York (marking the highest bid of the evening at $85K, no less). Watch as actor Alan Cumming demonstrates the device.
We’re thrilled to announce that the Moët Mini Vending Machine achieved the highest bid of the evening and raised 85k for @amfAR last night! Special thanks to the valiant and hilarious efforts of @alancummingsnaps. #MoetMoment #Repost @bunboyeats ・・・ #Amfar #AmfarGala #AlanCumming #MoetVendingMachine #Moet
