Taking into consideration that every minute of her life is more or less already documented, forget scrutinized, our favorite redhead, actress Lindsay Lohan is parlaying her knowledge of the medium to a new social media-based prank television show, aptly titled “The Anti-Social Network.” In the show, Lohan will take over a person’s social media account for 24 hours, daring them to complete challenges for prizes.
Having just recently wiped clean her own social media, revamping with images from her current exploits in the Middle East, the world was left stunned, speculating with dropped jaws possible reasons behind the purge.
In true Lohan demeanor, the actress has bounced back, opening a trailer for the show proclaiming, “I’m back bitches.” She excitedly shared a video to her Facebook page, stating, “I love social media” and deadpanning, “I am social media.” Lohan advises, “Everybody knows, you should never leave your phone lying around, especially near me.” Lohan explains, “I’ve decided I’m going to hijack your social media, your Instagram, your Snapchat, your Facebook, your Twitter, all of it - for 24 hours.”
The show, which is currently being shopped around to networks, is produced by Band of Outsiders, noting a goal of the show is to encourage individuals to examine “how much is your social media worth to you?”
Comparisons are being made to Ashton Kutcher’s revered Punk’d, of which a 17-year old Lohan was hilariously herself pranked.
Lohan appears to be pretty psyched about the show, which seems to have a bit of an “if you can’t beat them, join them” twist to it.
