Baseball games might not be the best place to be always on your phone, a notion proved most recently (and effectively) at a spring training game in Florida. Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Danny Ortiz’s bat slipped out of his hands during an at-bat against the Atlanta Braves, sailing full force into the seats along the first base line.

The unknowing boy was saved by one heroic dude who stretched his arm out to block what would’ve otherwise been a pretty bad scene. No one’s sure if the man was the kid’s dad/uncle or if the two even knew each other. All we know is that this guy’s like an off-duty Batman. Actually, it might just be John Cena.
