This isn’t your typical story that you hear every day. This is one of those “WTF” stories that come along every so often and literally make you scratch your head.
This is Nidia Garcia; she’s a beautiful mother of two who works as a Mexican police officer. She also enjoys posting pics of herself to her Facebook profile. For whatever reason, she thought it would be a good idea to post a topless selfie to her Facebook page… from her squad car… while still in uniform.
Not only did she not see an issue with this pic, but the first thing that came to my mind was… who took this picture? There’s no way her arms can reach that sort of angle. That had to be her partner (cops usually roll in pairs, right?) or some sort of new selfie stick I’ve never seen before.
Nidia released an apology for her actions, saying “I was wrong in letting myself be photographed in my hours of work while still wearing the uniform of an officer. I want to ask a huge apology to the secretary of security and Justice of proximity and more to my municipality general Escobedo for this immoral act on my part. I feel disgusted by the great damage caused and the damage done mainly to my two daughters, followed by my husband, my parents, brothers and entire family.” Regardless, she’s been stripped of her duties on the force and awaits a final decision on her fate.
