During his playing days, Michael Jordan was notorious for his trash talk. He called Muggsy Bogues “a f–king midget,” sank a free throw with his eyes closed when Dikembe Mutombo dared to jaw at him, and laid into Jimmy Jackson for wearing Air Jordans while playing against the sneakers’ namesake.

Now MJ is using a similar strategy to try and sell his estate in Highland Park, Illinois. Videos that were recently released by the real estate agent who is selling the property almost taunt prospective buyers into purchasing the $14,855,000 home.

In a video titled “Only One,” the broker Kofi Nartey says, “How many times have you heard someone say ‘He’s the Michael Jordan of this; She’s the Michael Jordan of that?’ Well, this is the Michael Jordan of homes because this is Michael Jordan’s home. The estate has nine bedrooms and 15 bathrooms (imagine being able to drop a deuce in a different toilet for two weeks without going in the same one!) on its "56,000 square feet of success.”

Another video called “I Am…” has the house speaking in first person and talking trash about other mansions. “You think your big, well I’m bigger,” the house boasts. “You say you’re great at entertaining. Have you seen my pool pavilion? You might have a basketball hoop but I have a full size regulation court, designed and played on by the greatest of all time.”

The videos feel like a motivational speech designed to make a buyer feel confident in forking over $15 million because “only one person will be able to say I just bought Michael Jordan’s house.”

It remains to be seen how effective that plan is. Jordan has had the estate on the market since 2012. But if you want to live in a house with Jumpman logos everywhere, you can visit the home’s website, startyourlegend23.com
