MIT Created Wi-Fi With X-Ray Capabilities That Can Track People Through Walls

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that MIT is capable of epic technological advancements. What may be surprising though is that a team of researchers at MIT developed wifi that has x-ray vision.

Using a wireless signal, the device emits a RF signal that can track a human body through a wall, with a reconstruction algorithm creating a snapshot of the person’s outline. The researchers claim the output is similar to Microsoft’s Kinect.

Now you’re going to think twice about hopping on your neighbor’s wi-fi, which is probably named something like “FBI Surveillance Van” anyway.
