Most of the time, when you see a Post-It note on a piece of paper it portends bad news. Some criticism from your boss who, you know, just doesn’t “get it.” Or maybe even the ominous “See me.” Occasionally, they are used to build a giant Sonic The Hedgehog.

Regardless of the notes purpose, there is now an artful way to send them. Inspired by the work of Dutch painter Piet Mondrian, whose geometric works consisted of bold primary colors separated by black lines, PA Design has created a 3-dimensional sticky note holder. Six pads of various sizes sit atop a black pedestal. There are four colors of notes—red, blue, white, and yellow—so you can figure out which one best conveys the tone of your missive.

The Monde Riant sticky notes cost $17 and are available here.
