It’s a known fact that finding fan gear that doesn’t suck is a challenge. Fortunately, the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens didn’t let that stop them from releasing an impressive collaboration with Canadian streetwear brand Off The Hook.

The initial offering of the capsule collection includes a varsity jacket, a rugby shirt, and a series of T-shirts. More items will drop over the course of the year. It’s the kind of gear that you wouldn’t mind wearing on non-game days, which is saying a lot.

According to Kevin Gilmore, the Canadiens’ Chief Operating Officer, the collaboration is for “consumers who’ve been seeking a more understated approach than the more traditional styles of licensed clothing we have seen.”

And for Off The Hook, the partnership made perfect sense since even the coolest cool guy in Montreal can’t deny the sway that the Habs hold over the city.
