Of roughly 100,000 readers who took part in BuzzFeed’s “Ultimate Sexting Poll,” 53 percent claimed they had never sent a nude pic. That means roughly 47 percent of participants are shame-ridden liars.

The poll also found that 51 percent of participants had never actually sent a sext, although 66 percent admitted to sending “suggestive” pics.

Of those who did admit to sending nudes, 12 percent claimed they’d accidentally sent one to the wrong person. On the flip side, 53 percent of participants claimed they’d received unwanted nudes (5 percent of those were from me, and I apologize for that. DM me your phone number on Twitter if you’d like me to text you a personal apology.).

As for the poll itself, BuzzFeed admits it was completely unscientific in nature, meaning this is not a good indication of the general public’s sexting habits. But it is a fascinating look at the sexting lives of weirdos who fill out online sex surveys.
