Space is beautiful, serene, and the scene of about a billion different horrific ways to die. Upcoming first-person game ADR1FT captures all those aspects perfectly.
Developer Three One Zero’s E3 2015 trailer for the game leaked a bit early today, revealing the title’s September release date for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. (If it gets taken down from YouTube, bear with us while we find a mirror).
The game, which concerns a Gravity-like situation in which space exploration goes absolutely, spectacularly, insanely wrong, is also being developed for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset. That gives ADR1FT an immersive, 3D presentation that will make players’ probably-impending dooms even prettier, and much more unsettling.
Mostly unsettling, actually. But in a good way. I think. But I’m also scared. Shudder. Hold me.
