Do you ever drink a Budweiser and ask yourself, “Does this beer match my shoes?” Yeah, me neither. But that doesn’t make New Balance 997 “American Lager” sneakers any less cool.
The 997s are made in the U.S. just like the King of Beers and feature suede in red and blue hues that will be instantly familiar to anyone who’s ever pounded a “Bud Heavy.” Unfortunately, they are not beechwood aged.
The “American Lager” 997 comes on the heels of the “Real Ale” pack of sneakers that New Balance released in August. Those shoes were made in the company’s U.K. factory and were inspired by British pale ales, stouts, and amber red ales. So no matter what your beer of choice is, it seems New Balance has a shoe for you.
You can pick up a pair of the New Balance 997 “American Lager” at Rise for $200. See more pictures of the sneakers below.
