It was nice knowing you, Home button.

As if it’s already not enough that we’re still trying to deal with the devestating loss of the 3.5mm headphone jack with the iPhone, there are now rumors that Apple is doing away with the home button in their upcoming March launch of their new iPad Pro Models (insert nervous, crying Emoji here.)

Apparently, we just can’t have anything nice.

MacRumors reports that the trio of new iPad Pro models coming out in March will include a refreshed 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch version, and a completely new bezel-free 10.9-inch model. This means the display will need to have an edge-to-edge design, most likely meaning the removal of the Home button.

However, MacRumors is also suggesting that all three of the new models will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack. So rejoice: There is some good left in the world.
