Okay, so Free Music Fridays isn’t really a thing, but maybe we’ll kick off something miraculous here today. As it stands, though, it’s merely a coincidence that two of our favorite rowdy acts decided to drop a bit of no-strings-attached ear candy just in time for the weekend.

Foo Fighters, “The Feast and The Famine”

Dave Grohl and Co.’s much-anticipated album Sonic Highways doesn’t come out for another couple of weeks, but the Foos have already released a second cut to the masses. The conceit of Highways is that it was crafted in different recording studios in eight cities all around the country. “The Feast and the Famine” hails from Virginia.

Run The Jewels - *RTJ2*

The powerhouse duo of El-P and Killer Mike are already becoming renown for their very public internet antics. But you can’t say that haven’t been extremely generous in the interest of self-promotion. Their sophomore album RTJ2 is technically due out on October 27th, but that matters little as they gave the entire thing away for free yesterday evening via Twitter.
