I can’t decide which just-released tune is better for getting one out of bed and inspired to take on the challenges of a new day and society at large.

Jewel’s “Home to Me,” written on behalf of the ReThink public housing initiative, addresses the issue of homelessness and fairness in America with a melancholy yet hopeful bent. In it, the singer addresses the far-reaching effects of having a roof over one’s head. “It’s the basic human right for dignity and safety,” she croons.

Whereas Jamie Foxx’s “Party Ain’t A Party” features these guest lyrics by 2 Chainz: “Do not disturb sign on the door/Need to record, so I got a camcorder/I’m playing Pandora/Might break her aorta.”

I guess, whatever gets you twerkin’.
