It’s never a good day at the news station when you’re live on the air for several minutes without anyone letting you know the world is watching. Here’s what happened, according to the video:

Fredrik Ahl of SVT TV thought he had a bit of time to prepare and to play around with, before his evening news show went on-air. During the embarrassing on-sir gaffe, he calls refugees living in the country “kebab techniques”, and reportedly managed to offend 100,000-odd people when he said “nobody wants to stay in Eskilstuna” referring to the southern Swedish city.

Ahl sings opera, imitates other dialects and pulls out his earpiece and blows into it. And the network allowed it all to go on air, for over three minutes …..
