Sneakerheads and Back To The Future fans rejoice! Speaking at the Agenda Emerge conference, legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield revealed that the company planned to release the Air MAG sneaker from Back To The Future II—complete with power laces—at some point in 2015.

Fans of the movie will recall that 2015 was the year that Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox, and “Doc” Brown (Christopher Lloyd) travelled to in their DeLorean time machine. In one scene, McFly receives a pair of Nikes and marvels at their power lacing system. To mark the anniversary, plans to reissue those shoes.

This isn’t the first time that Nike has released the Air MAG. In 2011, Nike auctioned off 1,500 versions of the Air MAG to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which funds Parkinson’s Disease research. The auction attracted celebrity sneaker fans like Kanye West and pitcher Brian Wilson and raised $5.7 million.

While those 2011 sneakers had LED lights, they lacked power lacing, which Hatfield said would be included in the new version. No pricing or release date was given. But don’t hold your breath for an imminent drop. As Hatfield noted, there are still “11 and two-thirds months left in 2015.”
