I despise iPhone cases, which is a very weird thing to despise, I know, but hear me out. I simply don’t like to carry things on my person, and the added weight of a case is just too much to deal with. Another fun thing about me is that I accidentally drop my exposed iPhone on the ground approximately seven times a day, but as of this writing, my 2-year-old iPhone is proudly crack-free. I’m playing with fire, but it’s a goddamn rush every single time.
I also don’t like iPhone cases because the majority of them are ugly and clunky, but then again, I’ve never encountered an iPhone case made from the bottoms of Nike shoes, which would have changed everything. It’s too late for me now, but it’s not too late for you, which is why I wanted to let you know about these new Nike Outsole iPhone cases.
Are these cases, which are constructed with durable, scratch-protecting thermoplastic polyurethane and come in two models that look like the outsoles of the Air Force 1 and Roshe kicks, all that necessary? Probably not. But Nike isn’t in the business of “necessary,” as evidenced by their recent foray into the exciting world of workout jeans.
And besides, they’re cool as hell, and why wouldn’t you want an iPhone case that looks like the bottom of an Air Force 1? At $35, it’s a lot more affordable than, say, an actual pair of Air Force 1s. Cop a case at the Nike Store now.
