Niykee Heaton is a YouTube sensation who kickstarted her music career by posting covers of popular rap and hip-hop songs on her account. She’s also produced a bunch of her own original material and posted it on there. After basically dominating the internet for the last few years, Niykee decided to go on her first ever concert tour this year.
It’s called the “Bedroom Tour,” and it’s fantastic. Well, I haven’t actually been to any of the shows. I’m judging this entirely on Niykee’s Instagram pics. But we think once you see them, you’ll agree this is the best concert tour you’ve ever seen.
First of all, let’s take a look at some of the promo photos Niykee posted for the tour:
Who looks at these posters and thinks anything other than, “I need to buy tickets to this immediately!” If Don Draper saw these ads, he’d probably say, “Shit, that’s even better than my Coke commercial!”
And then there’s the actual pictures of Niykee performing on-stage. They definitely do not disappoint either:
And it looks like there’s a lot of sexiness going on backstage as well:
Now, you’re probably thinking, “She’s not putting an art show! She’s singing and dancing and performing! Why are you only showing pictures?” Slow your roll, buddy. Niykee’s posted plenty of videos from her concerts as well:
I never wanted to be up on a stage. Performing, to me, was a negative and terrifying aspect of being an artist. Having severe anxiety, the last thing I wanna do is be in a room full of people while they’re all watching me perform a difficult task. I’ve never performed in my life, and I was sure that I would walk on stage for this tour and die of a heart attack. But I never could have imagined the magic I experienced the moment I stepped on stage for this tour. Fuck anxiety, fuck stress, and fuck fear. All I had to do was look at my fans, see the love in their eyes, and hear their voices screaming every single word of my songs along with me… and I wasn’t afraid…I realized I was finally home. #TheBedroomTour
There’s plenty more pictures and videos for you to view over on Niykee Heaton’s Instagram.
I would love to go to one of her shows and give a professional review of her concert, but unfortunately her date at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles next Friday is sold out. But if anyone from Niykee’s team happens to read this, I would definitely not be opposed to getting a hookup to the show. I’m going to Star Wars: The Force Awakens Thursday night, so I won’t have any conflicts either.
