Today I learned that red Solo cups are the most popular souvenir outside of America. If you’re traveling abroad, take some and make friends instantly. Also, for as much as the rest of the world makes fun of the way we eat, it was interesting to hear so many foreigners on Reddit gush over our junk food. Check out some of the other popular souvenirs around the world below.

SWEET TOOTH
A ton of king-size Reese’s to give to friends. Another friend from Germany thought it was hilarious to bring back a bunch of those “redneck” T-shirts from Wal-Mart for him and his friends.

YARD WORK
Presidential Campaign yard signs.

HAN SOLO
Red Solo cups! It’s one of those things that seems like a Hollywood invention until you actually attend an American party.

BOOZY
4 Loko and Everclear. You guys are crazy.

BOOM BOOM
Those cinnamon roll tubes that explode when you open them! I’d give my first born for those things.

JUST ADD WATER
My exchange students always want me to ship them “just add water” food mixed. Brownies, stove top stuffing, etc.

MORE BOOZE
Indian guy living in US—Jack Daniels or something similar! Especially some neat hard liquor from Tennessee or Kentucky is highly valued. We have a saying back in India that goes something like this-“When India to US, bring cigarettes, When US to India, bring the JD!” Also Liquid Smoke/Hickory Sauce for BBQs.

COOKIE CRAZY
I will smuggle as many packs of Nutter Butters I can carry.

SERIAL CEREAL EATER
Cinnamon f-cking Toast f-cking Crunch! It costs $30 to ship a large box to my home in Western Australia. A box lasts maybe 1 week between me and my dude.

DOLLAR BILLS YA’LL
Everyone I know keeps American currency, especially notes. It’s just so iconic.

MORE SWEETS
Some of my relatives in the UK have an agreement with my family-we bring them USA candy like Baby Ruths, Butterfingers, Reese’s Cups, etc.

COLLEGE
Don’t forget the shirts, jackets and sweatshirts with university or company names on them. Or anything which says you’re from America. Hell, I’ve never been to America but I got 3 UCLA shirts and one set of uniform clothes from a Colorado amusement park.

WON’T GO BAD
Twinkies. All of the Twinkies.
