One-Legged Paralympian Continues to Dominate Halloween

After losing his leg to cancer at age nine, Josh Sundquist didn’t let his amputation slow him down. He competed in the 2006 Paralympics as a skier and has become a successful writer and motivational speaker. As someone who routinely gives advice to people struggling with similar situations, it’s no surprise Josh has provided some examples of awesome costumes fellow amputees can dress as for Halloween. Here are his costumes from the past few years:

Partially Eaten Gingerbread Man

The Lamp from ‘A Christmas Story’

A Flamingo

Foosball Player

If you’re in a costume contest with Sundquist, be prepared to lose. He’s posted some thoughts about Halloween on his blog and hopes that he can inspire others to follow his lead.
