Almost two months ago, we announced that Playboy magazine would be going non-nude starting with the March 2016 issue. That means that the January/February double issue hitting newstands on Friday, December 11th will be the final Playboy featuring nudity. To close out this era in the magazine’s history, it only made sense to put the most famous Playmate in Playboy history on the cover: Pamela Anderson.
Not only will Anderson appear on her record 14th Playboy cover, she also took part in her 15th pictorial for the magazine. It will be the final photo spread to feature nudity within the pages of this publication. Here are a few of the outtakes from Anderson’s shoot: and you can check out the rest here.
To see the rest of these exclusive outtakes, check them out here.
We also enlisted occasional Playboy contributor James Franco (yes, THAT James Franco) to interview Anderson about her experiences working with the magazine. Here’s her description of her first shoot for Playboy:
The photographer shot me in one roll of film because I was nervous and throwing up. But then I saw the pictures, and from there it was hard to keep my clothes on! I was painfully shy before, but then it clicked in my head that nobody cares what you look like naked except you. People are more concerned about themselves and their own flaws.
You can read the full interview here.
Now go behind-the-scenes of Pam’s shoot at the Playboy Mansion with photographer Ellen von Unwerth.
To see Anderson’s full, uncensored shoot, pick up a copy of the January/February double issue when it hits newstands on Friday, December 11. Then keep your eye out for the first non-nude issue this March.
