Patrick Dempsey is now in the news for something other than his shocking Grey’s Anatomy exit last week (you know, if you’re into watching sexy doctors on TV). He’s ready to part with his ultra cool ocean side Malibu home, designed by architect Frank Gehry. We’re not exactly sure how though, considering the tin-like house sits on 3.2 acres of mountainside and has features like a rock-climbing wall, a lawn big enough to house a football game, a spa and a horse barn. You could easily say this is the ultimate L.A. bachelor pad.
But better dig deep in your pockets, because you’ll need almost $15 million to secure the ultra secluded Malibu residence. The 5,547 square-foot home was originally built in 1972 for renowned contemporary abstract painter Ron Davis, and is constructed out of corrugated metal. Not to mention, there’s a vintage Airsteam on the property often used as a guesthouse with a nearby outdoor bar.
This can’t be an easy house to put up for sale for McDreamy.
