Apparently not every rockstar is interested in picking up mega mansions in Malibu. Former Beatle Paul McCartney just dropped $15.5 million dollars for an over-the-top, incredible triplex penthouse directly across from Central Park on N.Y.C’s historic 5th Avenue.
The 12-unit, full-service building apparently requires a minimum of 50% down payment, which means McCartney put down at least $7.75 million down at once. But I guess that’s easy to do when you’re a 21-time Grammy winner. So what comes with all that cash? The penthouse has four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a staff room, a bathroom nicer than my entire apartment, private elevator that opens to foyer and gallery with white marble floors and a glass-railed floating marble staircase.
The coolest feature in McCartney’s new pad? It’s easily the 30-foot wide floor-to-ceiling windows and glass sliders that open to a ridiculous view over Central Park. Rockstars really do have it all.
