British astronaut Tim Peake, clearly an entrepenuerial man of the stars, is releasing a book comprised of photos from his time on the International Space Station. The book is entitled Hello Is This Planet Earth: My View from the International Space Station and is available on amazon.
In this day and age I think we could all use a little perspective, and these photos definitely do that. Capturing the scale and span of human life and the natural beauty of our world, Tim’s photos stroke a benevolent existentialism. Check out seven of our favorites, and then make sure to actually buy the book (your coffee table needs it.) Tim was just in a giant metal fortress hurtling through the black abyss with only a metal shielding between him and depressurized death. So you know, I think we owe the guy.
