Every year, the summer heats up quickly and we are delivered a fresh crop of delicious, season-defining jams. With surprise releases, unexpected collaborations and expected reunions, the music world of 2017 has a lot going on. There’s something for everyone: a new Lorde record, an LCD Soundsystem reunion and a Halsey and Fifth Harmony (member) collaboration. It’s been hard to keep track of who’s going to rule the charts this summer.

So here are 15 songs that you should add to your playlist ASAP in order to make every day a beach day. From Carly Rae to Kendrick, see who we think are going to rule the summer with their sounds.

“YOUR SONG” - RITA ORA
It’s taken Rita Ora fans in the U.S a long while to get on board, but her latest single “Your Song” – a sweet electropop earworm by Ed Sheeran – might just be enough to bring her overseas fandom. With her sultry, smoky vocals recounting a night of passion, repeatedly crooning, “I’m in love.” Seems like she’s turned over a new leaf.

“CUT TO THE FEELING” - CARLY RAE JEPSEN
While a demo of Carly Rae Jepsen’s latest anthemic bop “Cut To The Feeling” leaked back in April, fans were finally blessed with the final version of the ‘80s-infused pop gem last week. Jepsen once again makes us question why she was denied a Grammy for EMOTION thanks to its inherent catchiness.

“Loyalty” - KENDRICK LAMAR FT. RIHANNA
It’s near impossible for Kendrick Lamar to make a bad song, and with “Loyalty,” Lamar fuses funk, pop and R&B with a little bit of sampling from Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic.” It’s a showstopping track that reflects the tightknit relationships in the music community.

“I HAVE QUESTIONS” - CAMILA CABELLO
While it’s a bit sad for longtime Fifth Harmony fans that Camila Cabello left the band, it may have been the best decision she’s ever made. With “I Have Questions,” Cabello pours her heart out, recounting one of her darkest moments in a track she wrote on a bathroom floor. From collaborating with Cashmere Cat to Machine Gun Kelly, Cabello has been constantly delivering hit after hit – and we don’t expect her to stop anytime soon.

“STRANGERS” - HALSEY, LAUREN JAUREGUI
While Halsey has stuck to gender neutral pronouns throughout her music, “Strangers” is the first time she’s used female pronouns, crafting an anthem for queer women. An '80s-inspired breezy pop piece of art that came just in time for Pride Month, Halsey and Lauren Jauregui likely have the hit of summer on their hands.

“I’M STUCK” - NOAH CYRUS
It’s no secret that Miley Cyrus has been championing her sister for some time now – and it’s not for nothing: talent is all over the Cyrus family. Noah’s approach is soulful pop that shows off the Cyrus southern drawl in a new way. “I’m Stuck” respects Noah’s country roots, but translates a lovelorn situation into her own empowerment.

“APPRECIATION” - TERROR JR
Though we still might not know if Kylie Jenner is secret lead vocalist “Lisa” of the digital pop trio Terror Jr, it doesn’t really matter: their mysterious personas and ability to produce smooth synthpop gems (and lots of grape emojis) have made them beyond popular on the internet. “Appreciation” is as infectious as it is alluring – you won’t want to stop listening to this one.

“THREE RINGS” - GRIZZLY BEAR
It’s felt like an eternity since Grizzly Bear released new music, which is why “Three Rings” feels like such a magical gift to fans. The band, led by Ed Droste, has been very vocal about politics before, during and after the election, so the cinematic, compelling quality of the melodies seems to speak to the turmoil they (and the world) have been facing.

“ROLLIN” - CALVIN HARRIS, KHALID, FUTURE
It’s rare for Calvin Harris to not deliver a jam, but putting 19-year-old R&B crooner Khalid on a track with MC Future is a recipe for a perfect '90s hip-hop hit. Top down, wind blowing: the funky groove will get you through this summer.

“REMEMBER I TOLD YOU” - NICK JONAS, ANNE-MARIE
Perhaps one of the more unexpected collaborations of the season comes from Nick Jonas, Anne-Marie and Mike Posner. The trio delivered with a trop-house hit that flaunts Jonas’ R&B crooning. You won’t be able to go to a club without hearing this until September (at least). We promise you.

“RIGHT NOW” - HAIM
HAIM made sure they came back with a bang on their first single in four years. While “Right Now,” starts out as a harmonic folk ballad that you might be inclined to hear at Lilith fair, they remind you that they’re perhaps the Fleetwood Mac of the 2010s with their gut-wrenching guitar riffs that make songs both beautiful, tragic and catchy as hell.

“BAD LIAR” - SELENA GOMEZ
Flipping a Talking Heads track might have been one of the best decisions Selena Gomez has ever made. With “Bad Liar,” Gomez shows she’s gone from the Disney mainstream to a clever pop phenom who earns her David Byrne reference. (Perhaps spending time with The Weeknd has transformed her palette?)

“FOREVER YOUNG” - LIL YACHTY/DIPLO
Lil Yachty, a.k.a the “King of The Teens,” knows how to make anyone feel young again. “Forever Young” plays up Yachty and Diplo’s talents by making it a chillwave hip-hop cut that’s perfect for the perennials. With these two working together, they’ll without a doubt be ruling the airwaves this summer.

“LUST FOR LIFE” - LANA DEL REY, THE WEEKND
It’s impossible to deny the musical chemistry between Lana Del Rey and The Weeknd. On the airy “Stargirl,” the duo showed off their kinetic energy for one another, but on “Lust For Life,” they take it to a whole other level. Blending love and tragedy, the make a nostalgic piece of pop that will be playing for years to come.
