Jay Wright (Villanova) (left) - Wright runs a great program and is a strong candidate to be the best dressed coach in all of college basketball. He wears Hugo Boss and also will go the tailor-made route. He's impeccably dressed at all times. Photo Courtesy of Tom Schopper Tom Pecora (Hofstra) – Pecora's 102-55 record over the past five seasons means that we will see his sartorial splendor gracing the sidelines of a much bigger program very soon. He was Wright’s assistant for a number of years in which he picked up game strategy and a love for Hugo Boss. John Calipari (Kentucky) (right) – He's a guy who is always clean, neat and dresses for success on or off the court. Calipari's favorite designers are Joseph Abboud, Armani, and Zegna. Rob Goldberg Jr. Photo Gary Waters (Cleveland State) – The leader of the Vikings owns bespoke suits but also buys off the rack. He focuses on the total package, “You have to pay attention to more than the suit. The shoes and the tie are key.” Brian Gregory (Dayton) – Another coach who looks like he could still play, Gregory goes all out on his wardrobe blending both tailor-made and off the rack. He has a closet full of Canali and Abboud that he will roll out this season. Rick Pitino (Louisville) (left) – Very well dressed coach who even wears (pulls off) a white suit on occasion. The Tom Wolfe look isn’t ready for the streets but the rest of his wardrobe is the stuff of champions. Photo courtesy of University of Louisville Jim Les (Bradley) - Bradley's floor general has his suits made by a former Braves player. Les, who was an NBA standout in the 1980’s and 90’s, looks like he could still play in his custom duds. His suits are fitted to allow him movement as he loves to roam (stalk) the sidelines. James “Bruiser” Flint (Drexel) (right) – Bruiser has a classy and unique style that has continually made him the sharpest man on any bench. Photo by Mark N. Jordan ![]() ![]() Mar 14, 2010
