Pulp Fiction, easily one of the most celebrated movies of the modern era, could’ve been a much, much different film if Quentin Tarantino hadn’t scored his first and second casting choices. The director’s original casting wish list was recently leaked online, and there are some surprising names on the roll call.

While many of the listed options could’ve been intriguing in their own right (e.g. Gary Oldman as Vincent, Robert Carradine as Lance, Johnny Depp as Pumpkin), you should really consider what Pulp Fiction would’ve been if Nicolas Cage, who’s listed as a possibility for two roles, had actually wound up in there.
