Aside from all the random fires, the problem with most so-called hoverboards is that they don’t actually hover. But now, thanks to the fine people at ARCA Space Corporation, the world has a hoverboard that actually floats in the air. And unlike previous models, it does not need to be above a special surface in order to work.
However, owning a piece of the future does not come cheap. The “Arcaboard” will set you back almost $20,000. And for those expecting it to be exactly like the hoverboard from Back to the Future II, I’ve got some bad news. This thing is a lot bigger. But even though it might not be perfect, at least it doesn’t have any damn wheels.
