Traditional Champagne flutes are terrible. Holding one of the dainty glasses makes you feel like the Hulk, always about to snap the stem off or accidentally shatter it mid-toast. But these modern flutes from Uncommon Goods are sturdy, handmade from recycled glass in Colombia. The 7-ounce vessels snub the customary long stem, are lightly tinted blue and have a slightly curved silhouette. The only downside to not having the stem is that your bubbly warms more quickly; you’ll have to drink it faster. Did we say downside? $40 for a set of two.
