If you watched every episode of every legal drama or comedy to ever grace television, you would still be flabbergasted by the transcript of The State of Georgia Vs. Denver Fenton Allen. There’s never been an interaction between a judge and a defendant like this. Allen mouths off any phrase that pops into his wily head, from asking if a court order is needed for the judge to blow him to straight up threatening to bash in the heads of the judge’s nonexistent children and grandkids—and the flustered judge spends the whole time trying to outburn him, eventually stooping to tell Allen, “You look like a queer.”

So because the world is sometimes very good to us, the team behind Rick and Morty produced an adaptation of the real-life court transcript from June, with Rick as the obnoxious defendant and Morty as the equally obnoxious judge. It’s amazing.
