Evan Blass is a dude who has been leaking mobile phone details and images for over a decade. In his latest leak, he obtained and Tweeted an image of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. The Galaxy S8, if the leaked image is to be believed (it shows “Wed, March 29” on the leaked phone’s lock screen) will launch March 29 and become available in April.
The Galaxy S8 is one of the most anticipated phones of 2017 outside of the new iPhone, so the new image is both exciting and significant. As Samsung looks to forget the disaster that was the Note 7, it’s clearly leaning heavily into this upcoming spring 2017 launch of its new smartphone.

The leaked image confirms what we reported last week about the upcoming phone, including its projected March launch date. It also confirms that the S8 will feature a large front face that’s almost without border and edge-to-edge screen. It also lacks a home button on the front face, further confirming rumors about the minimal design.
For review, expect a large 5.7-inch screen or an even larger 6.2-inch screen on the S8+. Also supposedly on board are a 12-megapixel camera, iris scanner and water and dust resistance. Needless to say, we’re pretty pumped.
