Colin Jost had a lot to celebrate on Sunday morning. After wrapping up one of Saturday Night Live’s most successful seasons ever, the “Weekend Update” host lived out every man’s fantasy at the massive season finale after-party, which was held at the 30 Rock ice rink.
According to one observer in attendance, the unexpected paramours were doing most of their kissing by the bar, presumably in between glasses of Ace of Spades champagne or whatever it is celebrities drink at these things, where they would “make out a bit, then go back to talking.”
Jost and Scarjo seemed unconcerned with keeping their hookup a secret. “They were at the bar in front of everyone . . . they made out at least twice . . . Then they went back to talking and hanging with other people,” the source added.
Another partygoer confirmed their flaunting of convention—which usually involves canoodling celebrities retreating to darkened corners or elevators to engage in this kind of thing—by making out “at least twice” in front of everyone. “Then they went back to talking and hanging with other people.” How very strange.
Johansson, who filed for divorce from husband Romain Dauriac last March, was unsparing in her critique of monogamy in a recent conversation with us. “I think the idea of marriage is very romantic; it’s a beautiful idea. And the practice of it can be a very beautiful thing,” she said. “I don’t think it’s natural to be a monogamous person. I might be skewered for that.”
One person who is definitely okay with Johansson’s position (besides us, of course)? Colin Jost.
