James Bond has had just about every possible spy gadget at his disposal over the years, from ski pole guns to X-ray glasses to X-Ray Polaroid cameras. However, his shoes, while classy have always been comparatively low-tech. So here’s a request for the mystery director of the forthcoming Bond 25: please give 007’s feet some love by giving him a pair of these Oliver Sweeney Secret Shoes.

The British shoe designer linked up with the luxury website VeryFirstTo.com to concoct the kicks, which on the surface are merely Italian derbies handcrafted from wild red deer. Oliver Sweeney’s Cobbler in Chief — perhaps the only job in the world cooler than an MI6 agent — hand selected each hide, which reflects “the wild existence of the deer through the nicks and scratches,” ensuring every pair is different, per the description.

I’d still pay good money for shoes with that kind of pedigree, but that’s not why we’re here. Open the sole, and you’ll find a hidden compartment containing a handful of Bond-worthy gadgets, including the world’s smallest phone, a mini-Swiss Army Knife, a GPS tracker, a torch, a compass and of course, an aftershave atomizer. (All secret agents need to maintain an immaculate five-o’clock shadow.) While you can hand pick from a list of a dozen such tools, each pair only comes with six — all the more reason to order a backup set.

The caveat: You’re going to have to pony up 2,000 pounds (approximately $2,600) for the shoes. But then again, you never know when you’re going to need a torch or a USB stick on the fly, so $2,600 seems about the right price for being able to retrieve these from your shoes.
