Like so many people in the comedy world, Seth Rogen has done his fair share of Kanye West mockery, specifically in the form of a parody, with James Franco, of Kanye’s “Bound 2” video. Unlike so many people in the comedy world, though, Rogen is actually famous enough that he might run into Kanye and…have words.

Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night to promote his new film The Night Before, Rogen revealed that his worst fears were realized when he bumped into West in a hotel lobby.

“I turn around and it’s Kanye, which scared me at first, because I was like, ‘This is it,’” Rogen said. “I just went right to, like, the last thing I see is like a $10,000 sneaker hitting me in the face, and then I’m gonna be dead.”

Rogen immediately began apologizing to Yeezy for his mockery, but when West heard he was also a fan, things took a turn. It turns out, if you’re famous enough, and you tell Kanye West you’re a fan, he’ll take you to his van and treat you to a live performance of a still-unreleased album.
