The UK recording artist currently known as FKA twigs opted for something a little flashier than a TEDTalk to showcase her love of both performance and technology. She incorporated the use of Google Glass in a brand new video remixing two of her more well known songs. I’m not exactly sure how the gadget actually factors into the production, but the result is sexy and fun – if a tad frenetic.

In case you haven’t heard of FKA twigs, the 26-year-old dancer, singer, producer, and, now, director is the latest trip-hop artist to emerge from the long lineage of iconic acts like Bjork and Portishead. Her slinky synth-R&B sound fits squarely in with bands like Purity Ring and Little Dragon. Her production is distinctly electronic, so you’re unlikely to find her singing without a rig or two chiming in with blips and bleeps. But here she is performing live for BBC Radio – about as stripped down as she’s going to get.
