Deadline reports that certifiable rock n’ roll legend and former Beatle Paul McCartney has joined the latest installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, tentatively titled Dead Men Tell No Tales and slated for a May 2017 release.

The cameo was revealed amidst rumors of a reshoot on the project, before directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg with producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed that the additional shooting was for an “oversized set-piece scene” that will feature Sir Paul alongside the film’s stars.

It’s not the first time the series has grabbed a cameo from a British superstar: Keith Richards popped up in a previous installment of the film as Johnny Depp’s character’s father.
