15 of the Smartest (and Most Scathing) Signs From the Women’s March: Robert Nickelsberg / Contributor

On January 21st, millions took to the streets to protest the president’s stance on—well, a lot of things. Old and young, Republican and Democrat, women (and a lot of men, too) descended upon the cities of Washington D.C., New York City, Paris and dozens more worldwide, marching for hours to make their voices heard. Early reports estimate about half a million people marched in D.C. alone. Protestors were joined by celebrities like Rihanna, Brie Larson, Amy Schumer, Angela Davis, Janet Mock, Gloria Steinem and of course, Madonna.

They marched for reproductive rights, access to health care, equal pay, and fair treatment for all. They marched to support the causes in which they believe—and for those unable to march themselves. And they did articulated their messages in some pretty great signs. Here are a few of our favorites.
