Sure, you know what Nicki Minaj looks like through your human eyes. But have you ever wondered what she looks like to a lizard?
Thankfully, a new software program can give us the answer.
Humans can only see the visible spectrum, but many animals see the world differently. A team of researchers from the University of Exeter have created a piece of software that convert digital images into animal color spaces — including the UV spectrum and adjusting reflection, absorption, and spectra of light seen by animals — to replicate how they see the world.
As a word of warning, the program isn’t the easiest to install. But there is an online video tutorial to help guide you through the process.
Besides, spending time on a complicated installation is a small price to pay for being able to see what Caitlyn Jenner looks like to a bumblebee.
