If you’re in Los Angeles right now, you can go to Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue and see a gigantic Oscar figurine on its knees and elbows, blowing two rails of yak off a red carpet.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, street artist Plastic Jesus placed it there Thursday morning. It’s at the edge of where Hollywood Boulevard will close for Sunday’s Academy Awards.

This year’s statuette is also a commentary on Hollywood culture, according to photographer Nick Stern, who is a colleague of this Plastic Jesus character.

“The piece is intended to draw attention to Hollywood’s hidden problem of drug addiction that effects hundreds of people in the showbiz industry and is largely ignored until the death of a high profile A-list celebrity,” Stern said in a statement on Plastic Jesus’ behalf to LAist.
