The oft-talked-about Project Morpheus, Sony’s virtual reality offering that’s been floating around for what seems like forever, is out of the code name phase and moving on to becoming a real product.

Sony today announced the new name for the headset, dubbed “Playstation VR,” and some other details at its press conference at the Tokyo Game Show. If you happen to be in Tokyo, you can check out a number of games and demos for the headset, including Final Fantasy XIV and Dynasty Warriors 7.

For a while there, Sony seemed dubious about whether Morpheus would ever be more than a prototype it bandied about at gaming conventions, so a real name means that yes, we can expect to one day wear part of our Playstations on our faces. Sony said earlier this year it expects to release Playstation VR sometime in the first half of 2016.
