Every trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens seems to blow up social media as hard as if somebody actually claimed to have definitive proof that a long time ago, the infamous galaxy far, far away really, truly existed.
But while every trailer has made anyone with even an irregularly updated Twitter account go berzerk, the most recent (and final) trailer for the film sent everyone to the edge of reason so hard that when pre-sale tickets went up online, ticketing sites straight up crashed.
We, as a collection of like-minded individuals who adore a classic good vs. evil struggle for ultimate truth, are just that ready for this new outing in the Star Wars universe. So imagine how jacked everyone was when they found out one fan—Science Vs. Cinema co-creator James Darling—did what we all wanted (because “Do. Or do not. There is no try.”) and spliced together all three trailers for December’s Episode VII.
And if that’s still not enough, there’s also a fan-made trailer of the original Star Wars trilogy that plays off The Force Awakens, and it is also great. Such a grand time to be alive with an internet connection.
