Police in Onondaga County, NY, have charged a father and son with grand larceny and falsifying business records. Their crime? Stealing $41,000 worth of chicken wings.

Authorities claim 56-year-old Paul Rojek and 33-year-old Joshua Rojek stole the wings from the Twin Trees Too Restaurant in Syracuse between February and November of this year. The pair both worked at the restaurant as cooks and allegedly ordered extra wings through a supplier and then falsified records to cover their tracks. They would then sell the wings to outside buyers at a reduced price.

If anyone knows the street value of a bag of chicken wings, DM me on Twitter, and I’ll update the article.
