Target Apologizes to Mom for - You Guessed It - Selling Dildo-Shaped Star Wars Toys

Target Apologizes to Mom for - You Guessed It - Selling Dildo-Shaped Star Wars Toys:

Do these toys look like dildos to you? If so, there’s at least one mom on Facebook who agrees.

A woman named Joni Jones supposedly made the following post on Target’s Facebook page, calling out the somewhat phallic looking toys for… well… looking like dicks.

Via Facebook.

Via Facebook.

While it isn’t surprising that someone would complain about something so stupid (in all fairness, the view from the back looks a lot more questionable), it is surprising that Target bothered to reply with an apology:

Via Facebook.

Via Facebook.

“Shared this with our Merchandise team for review?” What’s to review? It’s not a dildo, but it looks a little like one. They might as well review the hot dogs while they’re at it.

The post has since been deleted, if it ever existed, which is now pretty difficult to confirm. But if you can’t trust a source like PopGoesTheNews, who can you trust?.

The mom who supposedly made the post said she was never “disappointed” or “offended.” She simply “found it funny and wanted to share with fellow ADULTS who could appreciate the humor in the whole thing.”

So at the end of the day, it was all just a big misunderstanding involving a fun-loving mom looking to share dildo-esque pics online with other like-minded adults. I need to become her Facebook friend.
