The Indiana Jones series has so many famous scenes—outrunning the boulder, outrunning the tribe, outrunning the grave robbers, to name a few—and they’ve always been a stylish mix of fun, cool, and adventurous. And while the fourth film, which always starts a fevered debate as soon as it’s brought up, diverted a bit by going alien sci-fi rather than religious supernatural, it definitely sought to capture the classic vibe, even down to similar shots and perspectives. It’s pretty stunning to see, actually. Kind of makes me take back the rant I laid out after seeing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in theaters.
