The Billionaire Margarita isn’t for the faint of heart—or wallet, really. The sweet-and-sour drink is $1,200 and it might be considered somewhat of a steal actually. Created by Jayson Goldstein, Director of Food & Beverage for The London Bar (kept like a bad habit inside The London NYC Hotel), this boozy outing will knock a good amount of lightning into your strut.
The bottles that pour into the concoction will make your unlevel head spin harder than the dizzying menu price. The entirety of its recipe is half an ounce of Louis XIII Cognac and 1.5 ounces of Patrón en Lalique Serie 1 Tequila.
If you’re wondering how the price racks up so hefty, keep in mind that the Patrón, a bottle all by its lonesome, is $7,500 (and only 500 were produced). But drinking this margarita is probably as fun and easy as every other margarita. You just get to flaunt the price tag in some otherwise-unimpressed faces by the pool.
