The Daily- August 23

Welcome to The Daily – the five awesome things you need to read (or see) on Playboy.com errday. You’re welcome.

  1. FIVE BEST APPS TO HELP YOU AROUND THE HOUSE

    01 the daily 08_23

Your smartphone isn’t pulling its weight. You pay its bills and charge its battery, maybe even squeegee the screen every now and again. But what has it done for you lately?

  2. PLAYBOY ADVISOR: CONDOM ON THE FIRST DATE?

    02 the daily 08_23

When I go out on first dates I habitually bring a condom, which I keep in my small pocket, a.k.a. watch pocket, just in case things get hot and heavy. This way I know we will have protection if we need it. 4. EMILY RATAJKOWSKI’S TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES WATCHING ‘GAME OF THRONES’ NAKED

    04 the daily 08_23

Emily Ratajkowski’s interview in next month’s Harper’s Bazaar is quite revealing. The model, who recently scored a Marc Jacobs campaign, gives the magazine a look at 24 hours in her life, from breakfast…

  5. ‘MADDEN: THE MOVIE’ IS THE BEST AND MOST NONSENSICAL AD FOR A VIDEO GAME EVER

    05 the daily 08_23

There’s nothing particularly cinematic about the Madden games, which generally strive for accuracy on the football field, a high degree of realism, and exhaustive and frequently updated NFL player stats. And then EA Sports, the developer behind the popular franchise, mixes in Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Julio Jones, Rob Gronkowski, Colin Kaepernick, Antonio Brown and Rex Ryan—plus over-the-top special effects and a bargain bin action movie plot—for what is undoubtedly the best and most nonsensical video game advertisement ever made.
