We all know the best part of video games isn’t playing through massive set pieces or executing perfectly timed tactical maneuvers with friends. It’s shooting your buddy in the back and stealing his stuff while he screams at you through his headset.

You’ll be able to grief your friends in Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ubisoft’s upcoming cooperative shooter title. During its E3 2015 press conference this week, Ubisoft announced a new area of the game called the “Dark Zone,” where players will find rare loot but difficult battles with computer enemies and other players. And the game gives those players the ability to kill you and take your rare loot, and vice versa.

The trailer above shows a team running into another small group of players, and deciding on the fly whether to murder and rob them or work together toward a greater goal. But not everybody is a pal, as the trailer eventually reveals, and you’ll want to make sure you can really trust the people you take with you to the Dark Zone. No friendship can survive a Reservoir Dogs-style showdown over an awesome digital shotgun.
