Nobody’s shocked that Ken “The Other Ryu” Masters is a character returning to the latest installment of the Street Fighter franchise, but everyone is surprised by his new look.
For Street Fighter V, developer Capcom has given Ken a bit of a makeover, which helps to make him more distinct from Ryu, the other hadouken-throwing dragon-kicking series mainstay. For years, the two have been super-similar, which plays into their back stories. In Street Fighter V, it seems like Ken is becoming more his own man, with a more aggressive fighting style.
It also seems like he might be ready to fight John McClane on the roof of the Nakatomi building in Die Hard. Not that I’m complaining.
