There’s more to the Commonwealth Wasteland, the post-apocalyptic land of Massachusetts that makes up the setting of Fallout 4, than just the usual raiders and supermutants. War is coming between the random survivors just trying to make it, and something called “The Institute.” And since this is a video game, no doubt players will be caught in the middle, the key to resolving the conflict and saving literally everyone.
That’s the sense we get from the latest and last Fallout 4 trailer, which shows more gameplay and story than we’ve yet seen in any official releases from developer Bethesda. And as usual, the Wasteland seems like a crappy place to live. Then again, you get to fire lasers, plasma guns, and even mini-nukes at your enemies, so it can’t be all bad. Fallout 4 is out on Nov. 10.
